My name is Joshua Day Marquez, and I'm an English Teacher from San Fransisco, California. I currently live and work in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

What I value most in teaching is the relationships I am able to build with my students. Teaching is a vehicle not just for language but for connection and character development. Getting to know my students and create shared memories through teaching is valuable to me.

I believe learning happens best when students are engaged. I facilitate this by building a positive classroom environment, encouraging participation, and building lessons around the level, interests, and ambitions of my students.
